Luoji (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Luoji website and mobile app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, chosen mascot, and school affiliation. This is stored securely through our backend provider.

Learning data: We save your quiz results, character progress, streaks, scores, and the content you read or complete. This lets us personalise your daily lesson and show you the right level of material.

Voice recordings: If you use voice features, your audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider for transcription. We do not store the audio recordings after transcription unless required for troubleshooting.

Device and usage data: We collect basic device information (such as device type and operating system version) and anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and personalise the Luoji learning experience.
• To track your progress, streaks, and achievements.
• To display leaderboards and rankings within your school or globally.
• To send you optional push notifications, such as daily streak reminders.
• To process payments and subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.
• To respond to your support requests or feedback.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers who help us run Luoji, such as our authentication, database, payment, and analytics providers. All providers are contractually bound to keep your data secure.

4. Your rights

You can update your profile, change your mascot, or delete your account at any time from within the app. If you delete your account, your personal data and learning history will be removed from our active systems within a reasonable period.

5. Children

Luoji is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account.
